Expertise
With over 8 years of progressive experience in patient-care and customer service, I am driven by my passion in helping people to live their lives to the fullest – with respect, dignity and compassion. My professional background includes:
Healthcare Administration & Support
Clerical Assistant III | University Health Network (2025–Present):
I work within a healthcare team to provide clerical support by maintaining patient records in EPIC, preparing and faxing requisitions and referrals, as well as registering and checking in patients. Additionally, I am responsible for scheduling appointments, managing phone calls and messages, and coordinating referrals reviewed by physicians to ensure that all patients receive accurate and timely scheduling support.
Program Worker | Lumacare (2016–2022):
I worked collaboratively within a diverse healthcare team to provide support to seniors and vulnerable individuals in accessing programs and services that enhance their quality of life. I was responsible for maintaining accurate patient records using healthcare systems like CIMS, resolving client concerns, running programs, as well as supporting program coordination to ensure that each of our patients receive their care in a timely manner.
Intern Administrative Assistant:
I currently provide administrative support at a family medical clinic. My responsibilities include data entry, record keeping and processing lab results to ensure that medical records are accurately and confidentially updated in the Electronic Health Records (EHR) using OSCAR.
Client Services & Interpretation
Language Interpreter (Freelance), Tutor & Child Caregiver (2023–Present):
During my return to school, I began offering freelance services in language interpretation, tutoring, and childcare. As a second-generation Canadian born to immigrant parents, I find deep fulfillment in supporting newcomers by helping them navigate medical care, social services, and government resources. I currently provide interpretation services in Vietnamese and Cantonese during healthcare appointments, hospital visits, and school meetings. In addition, I tutor children ages 6–12 in math and reading to help build their academic confidence, while also offering attentive care for younger children.
Customer Service & Leadership
Crew Trainer, Team Lead | McDonald’s (2013–2016):
As a team lead, I always strive to create a welcoming experience for customers by staying positive and attentive, even during busy hours. Furthermore, I helped train new team members and worked closely with others to keep operations running smoothly and efficiently. Whether managing long lines or handling tough situations, I’ve consistently demonstrated my ability to stay calm, adaptable, and focused on making sure every customer felt respected and taken care of.
Volunteer Experience

Information Desk Assistant | Humber River Health (2024–Present):
I provided support to hospital operations by providing accurate information to patients and visitors, managing phone calls, and guiding clients to their designated appointment and visitation areas. This role has strengthened my ability to offer timely support in a fast-paced clinical environment.
